Overview
A five-year-old single malt from Goalong, in Changsha, Hunan, matured in bourbon casks. Goalong’s malts were the first Chinese whiskies stocked by a UK retailer, The Whisky Exchange, in 2023, and its 5-year-old single malt was the first Chinese whisky to reach the United States. The distillery uses large 5,000-litre pot stills and models its style on the great Scotch malts.
