Overview
The top red of Chateau Changyu Moser XV, the Ningxia estate created by Changyu, China’s oldest wine company, and the Austrian winemaker Lenz Moser, fifteenth generation of a winemaking family (hence “XV”). A pure Cabernet Sauvignon from the foothills of the Helan Mountains, the grape that dominates the estate’s vineyards.

- Notes
- The estate owns about 250 hectares of vines at around 1,100 metres, roughly 90% of them Cabernet Sauvignon, with a few hectares of Merlot and Syrah. The château, built in 2013, houses a cellar of about 1,500 barriques. Ningxia’s small berries and cold desert nights are, for Moser, the key to the region’s Cabernet.
