Gujinggong, 'old well tribute liquor', is one of China's most valuable baijiu brands. It is made by Anhui Gujing Distillery in Gujing Town, near Bozhou, the hometown of the Han dynasty warlord and poet Cao Cao and of the physician Hua Tuo. The brand traces its story back more than 1,800 years, to the late Eastern Han dynasty, when alcohol was presented as tribute to the emperor.
Anhui Gujing is one of China's eight historic famous liquor enterprises and was the first listed liquor company in China to issue both A and B shares. Besides Gujinggong, the group owns Huanghelou and Laomingguang, and produces several aroma types. In Brand Finance's 2025 ranking, Gujinggong was the eighth most valuable spirits brand in the world.
